New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation provides students the opportunity to make the connections they need to be Wildcat ready for their first semester at the University of Arizona.  During the program students will hear from their academic college, meet with an advisor about course selection, register into their first semester courses, have a chance to talk with campus services (including financial aid and housing), and will receive their student ID card, the CatCard.

UA Honors College and the Summer of Excellence

The Honors College at the University of Arizona offers a unique environment for high-ability students looking to maximize their education at the U of A.  Honors students receive more faculty interaction, hands-on field experiences, and a wide range of resources, including Honors advising, Honors residence halls, and additional scholarship and research opportunities.  Students are considered for Honors admission as part of the regular U of A admissions process, providing that an ACT or SAT score is on file.  If you are interested in learning more about the Honors College, plea

Living on Campus Benefits New Students                   Spring 2011

New students living on campus say they feel more connected to the UA campus, make friends more easily, and improve their academic success. Students receive lots of support from live-in professional and student staff. A student must be admitted to UA before applying for campus housing, and then it is a simple online application process.

Next Steps Center and the Class of 2015

The Next Steps page is a fantastic “one stop shop” for students to complete all of their post admission requirements.  At www.nextsteps.arizona.edu students can complete tasks such as pay their enrollment deposit, sign up for campus housing in one of our residence halls,  and sign up for their  orientation where they register for classes, etc.  The website is set up in a user friendly checklist format to ensure each item is completed before their semester begins.
