Declaration of Support & Financial Guarantee Documentation
To study in the United States, you need a Form I-20, or “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status.”
After you have been admitted to the University you will receive instructions on how to submit your Declaration of Support, Bank Statement, and copy of your Passport to UA International using your institutional username and password, known as a NetID.
We recommend you upload your documents to UA International within 2 weeks of receiving your admissions award as it takes time to generate the I-20.
Review the Declaration of Support as you prepare your documentation.
If you have questions regarding your I-20 documents, please email email@example.com.
International Tuition Award
A limited number of merit-based scholarships will be awarded to students at the time of admission who demonstrate significant international experience during high school and who exhibit outstanding academic records. Award amounts range from $2,000–$10,000 USD.
A completed UA Admission Application serves as the application for this award.
Complete your UA admissions application by: February 1
You will need to apply for a nonimmigrant student visa to come to the United States for your education. Make sure the type of visa you receive matches the I-20 type you have for attending an academic school (F or J).
Submitting a visa application early is important, as visa appointment and processing wait times vary. The US Department of State provides an online tool to help you estimate your processing wait time, depending on the city your embassy/consulate is in.
