Group Visits and Special Tours
Special Tours are available during the academic year only and are designed for high school groups (or other college bound student groups) to visit The University of Arizona. They can be offered at multiple and varied times during weekdays and can be one of two options:
Option 1: (Recommended for HS Juniors and Seniors and Transfer Students)
-Admissions presentation
-Student-led campus tour
Option 2: (Recommended for HS Freshmen and Sophomores)
-Admissions presentation
-Campus Scavenger Hunt activity
Group sizes should be less than 75 students, and we require one chaperone for every 25 students. A minimum of at least three weeks advance notice is required, and when calling, please tell us which visit option you would like. We also ask that you have multiple dates and times available so we can best serve the needs of your group.
Note: To keep within our Admissions/Application Timeline, we strongly recommend that groups with high school seniors only visit in the Fall Semester.
If you have questions or wish to schedule a Special Tour, please call 520-621-6953 or email visitua@email.arizona.edu
Arizona Road Trip
Arizona Road Trip is a monthly program where high school groups (or other college bound student groups) throughout the state visit for an extensive information session. This program provides students a unique opportunity to visit the UA campus, learn about the admissions process, explore possible majors, financial aid, and student services.
Arizona Road Trip begins at 10:00am (all participants MUST arrive on campus no later than 9:30am) and lasts until 2pm.
Programs are limited to a total of 300 participants and often fill up quickly. A minimum of one month advance notice is required.
We are no longer offering any more Arizona Road Trips for the 2011-2012 academic year. Check back in August 2012 for more dates.
