At the University of Arizona, we are receiving applications and admitting new Wildcats every day. We also receive many emails and phone calls from students requesting the status of their application or wondering why they haven’t received a decision yet.
When I think about my experience at the University of Arizona, my mind is flooded with memories of laughing till I couldn’t breathe, late nights in the library studying, and more sporting events than I ever could have ever dreamt of. But rising above all of these shiny memories is one of the very first ones I made at the UA; it was during my first football game freshman year. Coming from a small town, it was about a four-hour drive to anywhere with a large collegiate or professional athletic program, so I didn’t frequent those too often.
In order to make ends meet, I have become quite the thrifty shopper, coupon master, a creative chef, and have found odd ways to either make, or to save money. Not only does the UA area have super awesome but affordable farmer’s markets to shop from, but there are also tons of resources to get that belly full!
Located in the lowest floor of the Student Union Memoria Center, the Cellar has a little something for everybody, no matter your mood. It’s known for its beer battered fries, Boba tea, and bomb.com shakes, but if that doesn’t suit your fancy, you can find anything from burgers to home-style cooking on their menu.
