TRANSFER STUDENTS
RESOURCES
Transferring to the UA
The University of Arizona has several resources that are designed to get you on board and to help make the transition as smooth as possible. This is how we do it:
Each transfer student must fill out The University of Arizona application, which in itself accomplishes three steps. When you apply you are not only qualifying for admittance to the university but for the Honors College and scholarships too. Completing the application process requires submission of all transcripts from previous colleges as well as high school transcripts if under the age of 22. Make sure you apply early! Start your application today.
UA has campus tours to help make visiting the university a memorable and exciting step. Student-led Ambassador Tours show you the campus to help you get to know the UA the way they do. Those interested in getting a firsthand look at how our top-tier classes are run have the opportunity to sign up for UA Class Cats to really get in on the action. A full day of open-house sessions on academics and financial aid can make the UA feel like home. Enjoy lunch on us and take a campus tour by signing up for UA Up Close. Visit the University of Arizona.
Now that your first steps are done, it is time to settle down and start your new experience at UA. Whether you have questions about transferring, academic advising, or happen to be a student veteran, the UA has a resource for you. The Transfer Student Center, the Advising Resource Center, and the Student Vets Center are all located within the Student Union Memorial Center (SUMC) for your convenience and assistance.
Here at the University of Arizona, we have you covered. No matter where you may be in your process, there’s a contact for you.
