Campus Health Service (CHS) is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc., and is committed to promoting health, wellness and safety at the UA. CHS provides quality medical and psychological care, and health education. It also helps the UA in developing health-related policy.

Health Insurance and Health Care

Enrolled students* do not need health insurance to receive health care at the Campus Health Service, but health insurance is strongly recommended. Campus Health Service does not file claims with outside insurance companies, but provides forms needed for students to file their own claims. For details on service options at the CHS, visit www.health.arizona.edu and click the “Fees & Insurance” link at the top of the page.

* The UA requires that all international students, regardless of classification or number of units, carry the Student Health Insurance. Some international students may qualify for one of five exemptions from this rule. A link to the exemptions is at the “Fees & Insurance” link at www.health.arizona.edu.

Mandatory Immunization
