Complete the steps below to be evaluated for admission to the University of Arizona as a returning student.
Step 1Make Sure Re-Admission Is For You
This is the correct application for you if any of the following apply:
You attended the University of Arizona as a degree-seeking undergraduate in the past, left in poor academic standing, and have missed at least one semester
You were enrolled as a degree-seeking undergraduate, then withdrew and received grades reflecting that you “Withdrew” (e.g. WC), and more than two consecutive semesters have passed following your withdrawal
If you were enrolled at the UA last semester as a continuing degree-seeking undergraduate student, then dropped all of your classes and no grades appear on your record for that semester
If you are a graduating UA student, or have already graduated from the UA, and you wish to continue as a degree-seeking student
If you have been gone for 3 years or longer, you may be eligible for our GPA forgiveness program called Second Start. Be sure to ask the advisor about Second Start and if it’s right for you, during the re-admission process.
Last semester was the first semester of your enrollment at UA, and you dropped all of your classes prior to the 100-percent-refund period and no class registration or grades appear on your record for that semester
Your only enrollment at the University of Arizona has been as a non-degree-seeking student, a graduate student, or a continuing-education student
You may register without re-applying if any of the following apply:
You were enrolled last semester, then withdrew from the University of Arizona and received grades of WC or did not receive a 100-percent-refund, you are eligible to register for classes next semester without being readmitted.
If you also left in good academic standing last semester, you may qualify for the Back2UA program.
