Transfer Eligibility

Before you transfer, confirm you are a transfer student.

YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR TRANSFER STUDENT ADMISSION IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED 12 OR MORE TRANSFERABLE, POST-HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE CREDITS.

(If you have earned less than 12 credits, you will be considered a first-year applicant.)

If you are under the age of 22 at the start of your desired term, you will need:

  • At least a 2.0 cumulative college/university GPA

  • Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) course competencies satisfied

    • These can be fulfilled using high school and/or college coursework

    • This requirement will be waived if you have completed:

      • Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) or

      • California equivalents (IGETC, CSUGE) or 

      • An Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution

If you are 22 or older at the start of your desired term, you will need:

  • At least a 2.0 cumulative college/university GPA

 
We recommend transfer students apply for admission one semester before your intended enrollment start. Applicants who do not meet the stated criteria will be holistically reviewed for admission. Connect with your Transfer Admissions Counselor if you have further questions.
